Brief and context

Young Shaiheim is an artist plagued by self insecurities which not only prevents his growth in his passion but this constant fear is so frequent it forces him to feel like optimism doesn't exist. In this animated short if you relate to such problems you see this scenario play out in an amplified manner. There is a saying "you are what you think" so if Shaihim has enough scrapped ideas that's only going to manifest into a reflection of shadows made of paper but fueled by broken dreams. This monster is a literally manifestation of the quote Shaihiem won't let go off "you are not enough". It's only until the monster captures him he realises that he is more than he says he is, that he is meant to be an artist, that he has the power to do anything he puts his mind too and most importantly: It is more rewarding to refine something bad than expect everything to be perfect because that's not a reality of life. I say this, watch this animation if you feel like you are your own worst enemy. Watch this animation if you let outside forces affect you that you have no control of like other people being successful doing the same thing you are. Watch this animation if you have given up on so many ideas and have beaten yourself so much you feel lazy for not trying but insignificant and embarrassed for trying. This should be your reminder a negative mentality does nothing to serve you so let it go, keep these as memories to glorify your success in the future.
